UDON SABER Hub Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the conditions for using the Discord server “UDON SABER Hub,” the related “UDON-SABER Bot,” and the “UdonSaber Leaderboard.”

These are collectively referred to below as the “Service.”

By using the Service, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 — About the Service

The Service is an unofficial community service operated by an individual for the purpose of registering, viewing, managing, and sharing UDON-SABER play records.

The Service mainly includes the following functions:

- Operation of the Discord server “UDON SABER Hub”
- Analysis of UDON-SABER result images
- Recording scores, accuracy, rank, combo, and related results
- Calculation and display of PP
- Display of player profiles
- Display of rankings on Discord and the website
- Display of song- and chart-specific rankings
- Search and browsing of registered charts
- Random chart selection
- Private Score Mode
- Storage of result images
- Other related functions added by the operator

The Service is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by VRChat, UDON-SABER, Discord, Google, Beat Games, Beat Saber, ScoreSaber, BeatLeader, or any other company, organization, developer, or official service.

The original bot system on which this Service is based was created by 0147295. Current operation, configuration, server management, and code modifications are handled by U_030D.

Article 2 — Eligibility

To use the UDON-SABER Bot, you must:

- Have a Discord account
- Be a member of a Discord server where the Bot is installed
- Comply with the terms of Discord and related services
- Follow these Terms and the rules of the relevant server

The UdonSaber Leaderboard website is generally available for anyone to view.

You do not need to join the Discord server merely to browse the website. However, joining the relevant Discord server may be required to register, correct, or request deletion of scores, or to use other Bot functions.

The Service does not impose its own age restriction. You must nevertheless comply with the age restrictions and terms of Discord, VRChat, Google, and other external services.

Article 3 — Purpose and Basic Policy

The Service is operated as a place where UDON-SABER players can keep records and enjoy the game through many different play styles.

PP, scores, and rankings are provided only as references and entertainment features. They do not represent an absolute measure of a player’s skill, character, worth, or status.

UDON-SABER results may vary depending on world settings, note settings, play environment, PC specifications, VR equipment, network conditions, and play style.

Users must understand and respect the existence of different play styles, including:

- Playing mainly high-difficulty charts
- Relaxed play of favorite songs
- Focusing on scores or PP
- Not focusing on scores or PP
- Using Double Saber
- Changing note or world settings
- Playing freely in an environment that suits the player

Article 4 — Accounts and Registered Names

Users may register their VRChat name or another chosen display name by using the Bot’s designated command or the Web initial setup. Web initial registration requires signing in with Discord and confirming membership in the Hub Discord server.

The registered name may appear in rankings, profiles, per-song records, the website, and public APIs.

Users must not register names that impersonate another person, create misleading impressions, appear to represent an administrator or official party, or attack or insult others.

Using multiple Discord accounts to improperly manipulate rankings, PP, scores, registration counts, or other results is prohibited.

If a registered name is duplicated, incorrect, changed, or otherwise requires maintenance, the operator may correct, merge, or delete it as necessary.

Article 5 — Score Submissions

Users may register scores by posting an image of a UDON-SABER result screen in a designated Discord channel.

Submitted images are analyzed using OCR and other technologies.

Analysis may contain mistakes, including character recognition errors, merged text, missing digits, incorrect song titles, or incorrect difficulty detection.

Before saving, users must review the Bot’s confirmation screen and verify:

- Song title
- Artist
- Mapper
- Difficulty
- Score
- Accuracy
- Rank
- Combo
- Player name
- Other information shown by the Bot

If the analysis is incorrect, the user must correct it before saving.

The operator is not responsible for disadvantages caused by saving incorrect information without reviewing it.

Article 6 — Handling of Registered Records

Registered scores may be displayed through the Bot, Discord, the website, and public APIs.

If the same user submits another score for the same song and difficulty, the previous record may be replaced by the new one.

Even if a user deletes their score, song and chart metadata may remain as a registered chart.

If the chart itself must be removed from the registered chart list, an administrator will use the designated management function.

The operator may correct, merge, move, or delete records when:

- OCR errors are confirmed
- Song, artist, mapper, difficulty, or other chart information is incorrect
- The same chart has been registered more than once
- A score is unnatural or clearly abnormal
- The posted image does not match the registered data
- A record was submitted as another person’s record
- These Terms or server rules were violated
- It is necessary to maintain database integrity
- The operator otherwise determines that action is operationally necessary

Article 7 — PP, Stars, and Rankings

PP, Stars, rankings, and other values used by the Service are calculated according to the Service’s own standards and formulas.

They are not guaranteed to use the same standards as ScoreSaber, BeatLeader, or any other external service.

Stars may be assigned, corrected, or removed by the operator or authorized administrators as a reference for chart difficulty.

PP formulas, decay rates, Stars, ranking methods, and other specifications may be changed for service improvement, balance adjustment, bug fixes, or other reasons.

Past PP, total PP, rank, and other values may change without prior notice as a result of specification changes.

Users must not treat PP or rankings as absolute skill measurements or use them to attack, discriminate against, insult, or force excessive competition on others.

Article 8 — Private Score Mode

Private Score Mode is intended for users who do not want their scores, PP, accuracy, and related records to appear in ordinary public displays.

When Private Score Mode is enabled, all or some of the following may be hidden from normal public display:

- Scores
- PP and total PP
- Accuracy
- Rank
- Combo
- Hit and Total
- Per-song records
- Profile details
- Result images
- Public API record details
- Other information designated as private by the operator

The registered name or player name may still be displayed.

Private Score Mode does not guarantee complete anonymity.

In a dedicated channel approved by administrators, the user or authorized users may be able to view private records through confirmation commands.

Information published before Private Score Mode was enabled may not be completely removed because of bugs, configuration mistakes, caches, notifications, past posts, or other circumstances.

To request Private Score Mode, contact an administrator with the Admin role in the relevant Discord server.

Article 9 — Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

- Submit another person’s score while impersonating that person
- Use another person’s result image without permission
- Submit altered, manipulated, or fabricated images or records
- Falsify score, accuracy, rank, combo, player name, or other information
- Submit images or text intended to deliberately mislead OCR
- Manipulate scores, PP, or rankings through improper means
- Manipulate rankings through multiple Discord accounts or registered names
- Send excessive numbers of images, commands, or requests to the Bot in a short time
- Send excessive traffic to the website or API
- Use automated tools to place an excessive load on the server
- Exploit vulnerabilities, bugs, or configuration mistakes
- Attempt to obtain credentials, API keys, tokens, or other confidential information
- Illegally obtain, alter, or delete Service data
- Impersonate an administrator, original developer, Bot, official party, or another user
- Harass, insult, threaten, discriminate against, or repeatedly target another user
- Publish another person’s personal information without permission
- Interfere with operation of the Service
- Violate the terms of Discord, VRChat, or related services
- Violate applicable law or public order and morals
- Attempt, encourage, request, or cause a third party to perform any prohibited act
- Engage in any other conduct the operator considers inappropriate

Article 10 — Handling of Questionable Records

If the validity of a record is in doubt, the operator may ask the user to submit the result image, additional information, or an explanation.

If the user does not cooperate with necessary verification, or if the record cannot be verified, the operator may temporarily hide, correct, or delete it.

Correction or deletion of a record does not necessarily mean that fraud has been established. It may be carried out to maintain data integrity, correct OCR errors, or ensure safety.

Article 11 — Authority of the Operator

To maintain safety, order, and data integrity, the operator and authorized administrators may take actions including:

- Correcting or deleting scores and other records
- Correcting, changing, merging, or deleting registered names
- Correcting song titles, artists, mappers, or difficulties
- Correcting Stars, PP, or chart information
- Merging duplicate charts or records
- Enabling or disabling Private Score Mode
- Restricting Bot commands
- Restricting access to channels
- Deleting posts
- Issuing warnings, timeouts, mutes, or other restrictions
- Removing or banning users from the Discord server
- Restricting access to the website or API
- Suspending, changing, or discontinuing functions
- Performing emergency maintenance without prior notice
- Taking measures required for security
- Changing these Terms or other rules
- Taking other measures considered operationally necessary

Non-urgent changes will be announced before or after implementation where reasonably possible.

Urgent measures related to security, abuse, privacy, outages, or similar matters may be taken without prior notice.

Article 12 — Restrictions and Removal

If a user violates these Terms, or the operator reasonably believes that a violation may occur, the operator may take measures without prior warning, including:

- Hiding, correcting, or deleting records
- Suspending some or all Bot functions
- Deleting registration information
- Restricting website or API access
- Restricting permissions within the Discord server
- Removing the user from the Discord server
- Preventing re-entry
- Taking other necessary measures

The operator is not required to disclose every reason or criterion behind such measures.

Article 13 — Appeals

A user who wishes to ask about a correction, deletion, restriction, or other measure may contact an administrator with the Admin role in the relevant Discord server.

The operator may review the request, records, system logs, submitted images, past handling, and other circumstances.

An appeal does not guarantee that the action will be reversed or changed.

Final decisions regarding the Service are made by the current operator.

Article 14 — Changes, Suspension, and Termination

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service for reasons including:

- Maintenance or updates
- Bugs or outages
- Security issues
- Changes to or termination of external services
- Failure of servers, PCs, SSDs, or other equipment
- Internet connection or power problems
- Difficulty continuing operation
- Any other reason the operator considers necessary

Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damage caused by changes, suspension, or termination of the Service.

Article 15 — Data Loss

The operator will make reasonable efforts to preserve data, but data may be lost, corrupted, changed, or become unavailable because of:

- Physical failure of SSDs, HDDs, or other storage devices
- Software or database bugs
- Human error
- Power outages
- Malware or unauthorized access
- Failures of external services
- Corrupted backups
- Disasters or other force majeure

Users acknowledge that the Service does not guarantee permanent data storage.

Article 16 — Intellectual Property

Rights in programs, text, designs, images, logos, and other content included in the Service belong to their respective rights holders.

By submitting result images or other content, users permit the operator to use that content to the extent necessary for operation, verification, display, backup, fraud investigation, and incident response.

This permission does not transfer the user’s copyright or other rights to the operator.

Article 17 — External Services

The Service uses Discord, Google Cloud Vision API, VRChat, and other external services.

All or part of the Service may become unavailable because of outages, specification changes, restrictions, or termination of external services.

Use of external services is subject to the terms, privacy policies, and other conditions established by their respective operators.

Article 18 — Disclaimer

The Service is an unofficial, individually operated service provided “as is” and only to the extent reasonably available.

The operator does not guarantee:

- Continuous availability
- Absence of bugs
- Accuracy of reading results
- Complete preservation of data
- Accuracy or fairness of PP, Stars, or rankings
- Proper operation on every device, browser, or VR environment
- Complete anonymity through Private Score Mode
- Continued availability of external services

Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damage arising from use or inability to use the Service.

Article 19 — Changes to These Terms

The operator may amend these Terms in response to changes in law, service content, operational policy, security, external services, or other circumstances.

The operator will endeavor to announce important changes in the relevant Discord server.

Continued use of the Service after a change may be treated as acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 20 — Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and use of the Service are interpreted under the laws of Japan.

If a problem or dispute arises, the user and operator will first attempt to resolve it through good-faith discussion.

If resolution through discussion is difficult, the matter will be handled appropriately in accordance with applicable law.

Article 21 — Contact

For questions, record corrections, deletion requests, registered name changes, Private Score Mode requests, or other matters, contact an administrator with the Admin role in the relevant Discord server.

There is no dedicated inquiry channel.

Depending on the request, identity verification, record confirmation, or additional information may be required.

Article 22 — Original Developer and Current Operator

The original system on which the Bot is based was created by 0147295.

Current operation, configuration, server management, data management, and code modifications are handled by U_030D.

The original developer does not necessarily handle current operational decisions, record deletion, inquiries, Private Score Mode settings, or other day-to-day administration.
